The Cannon St. Bellows is a semi-satirical quarterly, focusing on what’s happening in City of Hamilton. This isn’t your standard political opinion rag as we set out to inject humour and whit into a damning critique of everything new since Britney Spears historic meltdown.

We try to keep it light while naming the pressure building inside everyone of us who has to take shit at work, home, on the street and in our lives and getting minimal returns for our efforts. We got one goal, everything for everybody.

and did we mention it is free.

Submissions

If you’re interested in contributing to the publication, get in touch! Send an email to thebellows@riseup.net with 100-200 word pitch outlining what you’d like to write. Include a proposed title, a brief overview of the subject you’d be writing about and your central arguments. We’re interested in submissions that speak to everyday struggles and experiences, antagonistic politics and social commentary, and many things in-between. We prioritize Hamilton specific content, written in accessible language.

In each issue we will be reserving a space in the Bellows for the best and worst rants on the state of the city, developer fuck boys, impotent real estate agents, pedophile cops, landlords, sexist pigs, homophobic dicks and all the sleezy, self serving things they do in the shadows.

We invite you to call in and leave us a message about those everyday thieves and their doings. Tip us off, expose their wheelings and dealings and we will publish the best of them, 100% unveted, anonymous rumours.
